The Dhadhla foundation is a non-profit Organisation which has at its core the eradication of chronic hunger and poverty in Africa. The Foundation has been actively involved in non-profit work since 1994.
The Dhladhla foundation has been appointed as the implementing agent for the CWP. The Dhladhla foundations’ aim is to reduce poverty and hunger through the creation of sustainable community projects.
The Community Work Programme is an innovative offering from the South African government to provide a job safety net for unemployed people of working age. The CWP is funded directly by the National budget, providing a bridging opportunity for unemployed youth, and others who are actively looking for employment opportunities.
The Dhladhla foundation and CWP realises that sustainable employment solutions are difficult and will take time, especially in under-developed economic areas.
